"What a treat it was for us to spend two nights at Cottage 1956!!! From the moment we arrived, Michel made us feel Special!!! The apartment was immaculately clean and very modern with Beautiful details!! Our sleep was peaceful in a comfy bed and Wonderful pillows. The breakfast was farm to table and locally sourced, specifically described by Michel. Delicious!! Camille has a gentle and inviting smile. The two are hospitable and friendly. "We were really positively surprised with the hotel. We booked it randomly shortly before our stay and the price was quite reasonable for us (family of 5). We didn't expect much since we simply needed a base near Colmar. Quite family friendly, perfectly located (15 min by bike to Colmar), but nicely isolated from the tourist crowds. Perfect place to stay with family and to explore surroundings."

"My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay at the Hotel Dontenville. The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and informative. We had one evening meal and two breakfasts'. We really liked the breakfast. The fresh baguette was awesome and the croissants melted in your mouth. If we return to the Alcase region, we will defiantly stay her again."
