"Wonderful boutique hotel, a stone throw away from the ocean, with just a handful of well appointed rooms (former classrooms). The property shares a larger lot with a nicer campground part of the same organization. Quiet and peaceful overall. "It is a neat hotel with character. It is clean and well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but there are definitely some negatives: The breakfast was pitiful. I was forced to go out for breakfast. There is no dedicated parking and since the hotel is located in the middle of a tourist town, finding street parking was not easy. I had to park several blocks from the hotel. There were often homeless people congregating on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. I would have to walk around them...

"First want to start with the front desk lady was great! She had little coloring books set for kids and gave us one. Super kind. Last day we were there, I always strip the bed sheets. When I did I found bugs. I called and spoke to someone they expressed concern and offered compensation. A day later, I called them, they said it was simply just a lady bug. It for sure was not, and they are now not honoring anything that was said prior. During the phone call, the lady was not at all kind, I asked...

"Only 1 complaint. Hard surface floors were sticky, having not been rinsed. Not sure how housekeepers aren’t trained and don’t know. I left a polite note describing the issue and asking to rinse the floors. Note and tip were gone - floors still sticky."
