"Property is a short drive to restaurants and the town of Trinidad, which was the nicest of all the towns we visited. Our trip was primarily to hike the redwoods and surrounding area, so it was conveniently located to everything we did. Everything was clean, cozy and the staff were friendly. This was our first time here and all of the research I had done led us to book the right place the first time."

"Unfortunately, the room was NOT clean at all. The floors were damp, and the tile was sticky. The doorframes and appliances were grimy, and the carpet was stained. Fortunately, the bedding was clean. The room also smelled like they tried to overcompensate for the smell with cleaner. Would not recommend."

"Ran into a slew of problems. Firstly, didn’t get the room we ordered without explanation. It was implied we got a different room than what we paid for because of renovations, but the front desk seemed doubtful we even had a room in the first place. There was no offer of a discount or any kind of compensation for the room switch up (paid for a single queen bed and got two full sized instead). There was construction going on (to the point where I wondered why they didn’t just temporarily close...
