"The staff were easy to work with, the place was clean, very close to beaches, and just a good overall a good stay. We only came for a night and wish we stayed longer. We plan to come back in the feature!"

"Amazing experience right outside of the Redwood Forrest park. You literally get to sleep surrounded by Redwoods! The town of Trinidad was beautiful less than a mile away and full of little restaurants and shops. The sunset on the coast was a must see and something we will never forget "

"Room was clean but run down a bit, which didn’t bother me, it’s an older building. The breakfast was nice! The people here are nice! The neighborhood did not feel safe! Lots of people riding bikes that looked sketchy. For people with no kids it would be perfectly fine… But the property did have tons of cameras and felt secure, and I never saw homeless people come onto property, but only stayed one night. Other than that the lobby was beautiful and the breakfast and the people who work here were...

"Delightful stay at this historic property. Great communication from the inn keepers with detailed emails and instructions. Mario walked us through the check in process and was extremely accomodating with the rooms for me and my son's stay. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the Carson Mansion directly across the street on a quiet residential cul de sac with some view of the water. Plenty of toiletry supplies in bathroom and a full kitchen with coffee/ tea bar...

"Parking was great. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was bad every day. The room was clean. Amenities: there is a TV in the bedroom. Most of the staff I dealt with seemed to really dislike their job. There were two really great people, but I didn’t see them more than once. This venue has tons of charm and great location. Maybe staff was having an off week. Then again, this place was pretty expensive to be treated "
