"Pax Guest House is in a heritage building so it is important to know that some of the facilities are older. This did not impede our stay but it is something that visitors should be aware of before arriving. Both Gerard and Oda were wonderful hosts and made our time in Trinidad that much better. Gerard gave us daily tips on where to go and what to do. Oda provided us with the best breakfasts and hospitality. They even prepared a special meal for my birthday! The guest house is up the mountain and there are many switchbacks to reach the building. For this reason, we opted to have dinner at the guest house most nights. We felt very safe here and absolutely loved the hummingbird activity on the deck as well as the view of the valley. This is a special place and I would certainly come back. "

"We stayed at the Regent Star overnight for a layover and we had a very pleasant experience. The shuttle to the from the airport was very convenient, the breakfast was good, and they allowed us a late checkout which was wonderful. The bed was a little firmer than we like, but we had a good night of rest. We’d definitely stay here again!"
