Nice hotel, close to the city highlights

Nice hotel close to the centre of Trieste. Was a little concerned with proximity to the road, but shutters, windows and curtains blocked out all the noise and light. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff were helpful and really enjoyed our stay and Trieste overall

The room we were given was on 4th floor of building a few doors down; it was a secure and charming building. Clean, modern with great views of life outside. Very close to train station and pier! Very walkable and building were gorgeous! Staff efficient and friendly.

A nice old fashion hotel just blocks from the train station and near Via Roma, a street that leads you to the heart of Trieste. Wonderful staff; from the gentlemen behind the front desk to the lovely lady who tidied our room daily.

This is a pleasant hotel close to the railway station and within easy walking distance to the centre and to restaurants. Staff were extremely helpful with advice and made every effort. Breakfast is adequate but not special. WIFI was good. There was nothing that I disliked.

Voor the price per night this hotel offers too little. No bar or dinner options. Tea and coffin in the lobby. Breakfast is good but simple. This hotel is NOT for people with a disability although this is advertised. There is a stair elevator to the first floor, but all other rooms are not accessible without walking at least 15 steps. Also the elevator is not accessible without walking steps first, and the breakfast restaurant is also not accessible without taking at least 15 steps.

The worst was that there was no elevator from lobby to top floor which made my friend and I, in our eighties, had to pull bags up over 10 step to first elevator and then down the same to get to the room. On checking out, we got the maid to take them down. 2 bed room much smaller than pictured in ad. Nice breakfast. Convenient on bus line if one were to extend stay.

The AC was barely adequate - never cooled the room down. Roma is safe, clean, close to public transportation. Cafe's, bistros etc. are walkable. Staff at the hotel were very helpful. I'd happily stay there again.
