A Room with a View
Our trip to Liechtenstein was highlighted by the excellent JUFA Hotel Malbun. It is located at a ski resort area and the views and vistas were simply beautiful. We arrived late for check-in but the staff was already prepared for us and had us in our room within a couple of minutes. The room was very clean and comfortable and our room looked out over the gorgeous mountains. Excellent breakfast the next morning with a newsletter telling of the days activities that were available to you. We will definitely book here again on our next trip.... hopefully take in some skiing next time!

Lovely new hotel but poorly insulated (we could hear our neighbors upstairs at all times) with uninformed, albeit nice, staff. Breakfast buffet was awful and understaffed.

Nice to know on the run that it is 20 min off the highway up into the mountains. But everything was super. They stayied open in the restaurant for later arrivers...

Not as impressive as it is shown on line. Breakfast buffet is mediocre. Dinner is expensive and looked awful...set price for a buffet. No tea kettle or anything in the room for tea or coffee. Rooms were sooo hot even with the windows open in 50F degrees at night...could use summer bedding. Duvet was thick and would be great in winter. Tiny room. All staff vacates and turned off lights at 10pm on friend sitting in “common area”. We were admonished not to bring outside food into room but after a long day hiking, 30euro for the crap buffet was not going to happen. Just wanted a pizza and beer. On the plus side, location was great! Nice kids play area. Overall, look at other hotels in the area.

Hotel of high quality right next to the Alps
This is a hotel of high quality throughout and the staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is really pleasant, looks good and it's right next to different mountains. You can start the hike paths behind the hotel or during the winter there's a ski lift. I can highly recommend this place and for sure I will go there again. Sauna/wellness are is luxurious with three different saunas and relaxing area. There's also a panorama view to the Alps. The breakfast is versatile and there's a lot of quality stuff. There's different coffees and variety of breads. Bed is big and pillows were also really nice and I slept peacefully.

JUFA - Just Up From Austria
Food was nice, staff were friendly and helpful. They all spoke good English which was great. The room was clean, tidy, well laid out and had a great view of the surrounding landscape. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be when covered in snow. It would be great to return to for a skiing holiday.

You know what I need? More cowbell!
It's a long windy trek to get to this hotel, but once there, the place is pretty great. The staff was helpful, the breakfast delicious, and the room comfortable. Opening the window, you can enjoy the clanging of the cow bells from the herd sharing the field next door.

New hotel that is definitely worth checking out!
This hotel is only one year old, so my room still had the new hotel smell, which in this case is wood. The outside of the hotel is wood and the room had a very "woodsy" feel to it. I really enjoyed it. The top two things I pay attention to in a hotel are beds and showers. The beds are new and comfortable, I slept very well. The shower had great pressure and it was a good size. Not as big as I may like but it's not tiny either. Very modern room, which always makes me feel good. The view was pretty good from my room, but I also had a view of the rock climbing tower. The other side of the hotel had a better view than my room but it's still not bad when you're in the mountains. I want to come back here in the winter and ski here since it's a ski-in ski-out lodge.

Ski hotel. The first room was lacquered so the smell was too strong. Breakfast was incredible. The cost was very high for being very far from the centre. Very clean. Great bathroom.

Really neat hotel with EVERYTHING
how anyone gives this less than a 5 is beyond me. Great breakfast. Front office staff more than helpful. Rooms a good size with locally made furniture. Great for kids - indoor rope course plus outdoor play area. One ski lift is on hotel property and other is directly across street. Indoor gym plus very nice sauna ("wellness area"). Workout room and plenty of ski storage. Laundry service on site was great and even reasonably priced (about $13 for a suitcase of laundry all washed, dried and folded overnight). Probably a quarter mile from a downtown with several other restaurants and next to the bus stop from Vaduz (Liechtenstein's capital town). Great family resort. Fun place. Near town. Skiing on site. Home run.

Lovely location
Really nice although Satnav directs you to a road which is closed. Apparently a regular occurrence. Not their fault. Very clean, lovely view. Nice breakfast. Thoroughly recommended

Room was new and clean. Beautiful mountain area. Malbun is very small but is beautiful and a great destination for hiking in summer. Room for family had a 'murphy' bed position over european king with another twin across the room. Lots of built in cabinetry for gear. Separate bathroom/shower.

Great hotel in an even better location
Right on the ski lift line - the hotel is in a great location, has all of the needed amenities and is perfect for families. We were two families with 4 kids aged 8 and under and the hotel had everything we needed to keep everyone happy. The breakfast buffet is great but the dinner leaves something to be desired. It is not a problem though since there are many great restaurants nearby.

Wir waren als Familie zu viert für vier Tage dort einquartiert. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Die Lage am Lift ist ebenfalls sehr vorteilhaft. Skiverleih ca 500 m im Örtchen Malbun ist gut sortiert.

Super schönes und neues Hotel, freundliches Personal. Gratis Wasser beim Abendessen und um Food waste zu vermeiden konnte man offiziell sein Brot und zu viel genommen Schinken vom Morgenessen einpacken für das Picknick am Nachmittag. Hotel ist zu empfehlen
