"So great experience with the Hotel residence. Will be back again"

"A great place to stay in Bern. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Rosengarten where you have a wonderful view over the city across the Aare. It is easily accessible from the main train station with a direct bus connection (right now 9A), which takes 6-7 minutes and runs frequently (15-20 minutes cadence on weekends to 4 minute cadence during main business hours in the week). The rooms are comfortable with amodern design. The breakfast has good variety, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is one issue though with the Prizehotels that we ran into after checkout. My wife had left her phone on the charging bank in the Lobby, which she noticed when we were already at the train station. We tried to call to alert them and check before I went back, but there is no direct phone connection to the reception of the hotel only to a central facility somewhere, and even they couldn't get anybody on the phone at the hotel."

"The front desk staff Tiara was extremely helpful. But, for all the 3 days we were there, there was no internet and it inconvenienced us a lot. The management should reimburse us back at least 20 percent of the tariff."

"Fantastic hotel with Virtual check-in and check-out. It is very modern and beautifully designed. Having virtual keys that ypu dont risk to lose is a plus! The common area in the first floor is beautiful and coffee and tea is included. You can also use the kitchen to prepare meals or store your food"

"We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The hotel is extremely well located right in the center of Bern close to the train station so transportation was easy. We had excellent service from Vera at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and went out of her way to tell us everything we needed to know right down to how to swim in the river safely. There are many special touches to the hotel lobby, including a great gathering space and even a free welcome drink. Loved our stay."

"The property, the people, the entire staff did a wonderful job. The Swiss people are testament of What good looks like. We never saw a single staff reading their cell phone at any time. The hotel is impeccable. The Swiss much like the Germans and the Austrians should be deployed to Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean to really show people how to get the job done. We will be coming back to Switzerland again and again because of folks like the staff at the Savoy. Thank you Sub for a wonderful stay. Me and my family enjoyed every minute. You get 10 stars. "

"We stayed in the corner room, which had its own bathroom and a lovely patio. We didn’t realize beforehand that other rooms share a bathroom, so we were pleasantly surprised to have a private one. It's worth noting that, like many hotels in Europe, this one isn’t staffed in the evenings. After 6 PM, there were no employees on-site. That also means no room service or food. However, they did leave out snacks and supplies on different floors, along with detailed instructions in case we needed anything. Once we adjusted to the setup, the stay was truly enjoyable. We especially loved having breakfast on the patio each morning. The staff were friendly and eager to help during the day, and the overall experience felt cozy and home-like, with stunning views of the city. Highly recommend!"
