"The property was with walking distance to much Watkins Glen has to offer. The room was as expected and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a hotel/motel. The hotel was not very sound proof but I just pulled up some white noise on my phone to drown it out and slept well"

"Bel accueil à la réception mais quelle déception dans la chambre. Ce motel manque d'amour et de rénovation. Ce n'est pas un décor vintage, c'est un décor des années ‘70. Lit très dur, salle de bain avec toile d'araignée, tapis dans la chambre discutable. Sur les photos, tout paraît coquet et bien entretenu. La réalité est tout autre. Endroit très tranquille"

"Room on 2nd floor was ok, but had issues - cracked window, no hair dryer, no storage space in bathroom (a simple wall shelf would have been a major improvement), only one electrical outlet. The AC worked fine. TV worked fine after staff came and set it up (remote had no back with exposed batteries. Breakfast was ok if you were there when all items available. One morning - no OJ, no spoons, no coffee, no waffles. The place could be much better with simple maintenance and attention by staff."

"The view of the lake is wonderful. The so-called breakfast was some individually wrapped pastries and just one coffee choice (no decaf) and juice boxes for the kids, essentially not a breakfast at all. The room itself is old, very few outlets and no dedicated charger plugs. No clock. No good places to hang one's towel to dry. Bed was fine. If you want a place to stay and do not care about amenities or breakfast, the room is worth the view of the lake."

"Michael greeted us upon arrival with a simple and easy check-in and check-out process. To our surprise, the staff cleaned our room daily. I highly recommend the Gorgeous View Motel for a restful nights sleep and easy access to all that the Watkins Glen area has to offer."
