"Stayed here for an event at the BIC. Ideal as only a 10 minute walk. Hotel nice and clean and staff friendly. Room well presented and laid out. Our only let downs were the bed, very very firm mattress which ment an uncomfortable nights sleep. Breakfast, not a bad selection just better quality ingredients on the hot side of things needed. Parking, advise you get there early as it’s only a small car park with tight spaces and it’s shared with the Hilton next door. "

"Fabulous food, wonderful staff, the room was exceptional in taste, style and comfort. Only downside sadly was single glazing and the noisy traffic. But a truly fabulous place with the best staff. Would highly recommend and hope they can get double glazing! "

"The room was clean, although the bathroom was on the small size. Didn’t use the swimming pool as It was too busy for the time we wanted to go. The car didn’t have much selection of beers on tap, but most Hotels don’t for some reason."

"The room was comfortable, however we couldn't open the window to let in air in and of course got condensation on the window .The room was clean.. There was an issue with bathroom/shower mixer..there was.a major problem with the water pressure and the bath/shower mixer tap had a major fault..it kept leaking..and as there waz no windowv or extractor fan..got very damp and wet."

"When we arrive we were told there was no food available in the evening because of staff shortages. Ok, we will walk into town to eat. Room a good size and clean although the sink and bath need replacing.The next morning was the most confusing. No fried, poached or boiled eggs available, only scrambled, yes I know I can't think this one out either. No hash browns because they the did not have a deep fat fryer working, put them on the griddle with the bacon and sausages would be easy. Pool, sauna and spa all very nice. For the price this was not top value, did give us a free drink as compensation though.Still can't work out why they couldn't cook a poached or boiled egg."

"Room clean .No charging points on sockets for phones etc. Staff generally helpful and well turned out. Food: gtasty and well presented and reasonably priced BUT only scrambled eggs on the breakfast menu!!! The help yourself breakfast menu is NOT appreciated by most guests in my experience. The toaster doesn't really work and the food in the heated trays is generally luke- warm by the time guests have got their own tea toast etc and returned to the table. Confusion amongst staff and customers re price of drinks at Happy Hour: drinks should be half price not two for one. Then everyone would understand the system and singles would not be forced to have two drinks when they only wanted one. "
