Best hotel staff in all of Poland. If you are traveling to Toruń, this should be the only hotel you consider.

The staff at the front desk were extremely good...professional and were always ready to help with my laundry and any general question. The same staff booked my train ticket for me, which helped me relax...my train trip was uneventful....and the staff at breakfast were fabulous too....

It was very nice and accommodating. The staff was friendly and I felt safe. They assisted with taxi pickup to and from the airport in Warsaw, which was very kind of them. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Highly recommended
Lovely period hotel nestled into the city wall ruins. Excellent breakfast in rustic dining area. Perfect location next to the river and easy walk to town square. Secure parking available for modest fee. Highly recommended.

We chose this property based on reviews of it being "exceptional" - it is very basic at best. We also chose it because the amenities listed washer and dryer were available, however there is none. Towels were thin, the room although large enough, had VERY little table space. Note that you have to carry your luggage up stairs to the property which can be difficult for some. Paid parking is down the street, and around the corner. When you unload your luggage you must park in the street as there isn't a place to pull into in front of the hotel. The spoon in the room was obviously dirty! I would not chose this property again.

We stayed in the new section of the hotel which was modern and very nice. The fitness center and the private theatre was not open yet. Breakfast was delicious.

Character and style in the heart of the old town
The beautiful building is built into the old city walls with a stream running out the front and under the building. Our window looked onto the ruins of the Teutonic Knights’ castle. It is tucked away behind the pedestrian street so it is very quiet but close to everything. The staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The bed is big and the wifi is perfect. The bathroom is well finished. As our shower was in the spa bath you should check this with the hotel if you have mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Did not like that it was cold and no heating available in the room. I guess they turn off heat and don’t adjust for cold snaps, based on the calendar.

Fantastic location
We booked the hotel at the last minute on a road trip around Poland. The location was perfect, part of the old castle complex but just a minute or two walk from the main street. The twin room had a great view but was quite small for two people. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast buffet. Service was great throughout the stay.
