Very disappointing experience for a supposedly 4-star hotel.
When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room was not working, and the temperature was around 30°C. It seemed the staff already knew about the problem, yet the room had been assigned to us despite being prepaid. We were told there was nothing they could do because the hotel was fully booked.
The receptionist was polite, but we were asked to contact the manager ourselves. The manager replied that they would look into the issue, but nothing happened. No solution, no update, and no effort to make our stay more comfortable.
The hotel itself was also in poor condition. The beds were small and basic, and both the carpet and walls had numerous stains. The overall maintenance of the hotel was far below what we would expect from a 4-star property.
We travel frequently, and this is the first 4-star hotel where we felt management showed so little concern for guest comfort and satisfaction.
Unfortunately, Expedia was also unhelpful. After speaking with the hotel manager, they informed us that the hotel refused reimbursed us but gave 40 CAN. Given the circumstances, this outcome was disappointing but not surprising.
I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.
