"The property itself is gorgeous. The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in terms of activities or entertainment. If the weather is nice, you are in for a treat because their beach staff is impeccable and their grounds are breathtaking."

"This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, because of this you have to eat in their restaurant every night, and you can't eat before 8.00 at night because they are not ready. The staff are one big family, and they are very courteous and helpful. But that is where it stops. "Honestly, the quality of the facilities just weren’t very nice and the logistics to get in and out of the room more challenging to say the least. "The entire staffs main concern was to make us happy. The location of the hotel is perfect for beach access. The breakfast was a little weak but it got the job done. Highly recommend reserving through the hotel vise the hotels.com website. Some of the room descriptions on hotel.com are misleading. Beach side does not really mean looking at the beach.
