As we were there to attend a wedding, I wanted my own bathroom and a place to hang our "dressup" clothes. They were able to change our room and accomodate us."

"I liked the skylight above the swimming pool. However, the pool is not heated. It felt cold going in the pool. Only one of the exercise bikes and thread mills worked. Also, the equipment is very limited. Not a lot of weights and exercise machines. The continental breakfast is great."

"This is a lovely small hotel with nicely decorated rooms. It was very quiet; we rarely saw other guests or staff, which made it feel nicely private. Breakfast, while simple, was perfectly adequate and actually available all day. The only thing I didn't like is that the bed is really high; I'm very short and could have used a small step stool to climb in with ! But it was very comfortable and we slept well. This was a nostalgic trip for us, as we used to own one of the houses next door (40 years...

"Everything was awesome!!! The grounds are incredible and so many places to walk around. Every single person of the staff was incredible. They were so nice, helpful, etc. and the restaurant on property is amazing. There wasn’t one item that wasn’t delicious. I would say the only issue is when it rains/snows. As it get muddy everyone. "We were looking for a place to stay overnight and we would go back to Twin Gables of Woodstock again. The host, LeeAnn knows how to make a guest feel right at home. We stayed in Room 6, the Hippie Room and everything was perfect. Parking was easy though if the Inn is full, you may have to park in the street. The rooftop deck was great and everything - EVERYTHING - is walking distance. Our only wish-list item for the room is that we stayed longer."
