"From start to finish our stay was truly exceptional. We felt very privileged to stay in such a magnificent home!! Everything was truly 1st class, from the beautiful suite we stayed in, the incredible breakfast washed down with bubbly (how decadent) and two of the most generous, warm, interesting and welcoming couple you could ever meet. "Owner greeted us upon arrival to show us to our rooms and was so helpful with dining suggestions. Property is lovely, rooms are very nice and the property is spotless. "

"The stay was ok. Little things made it disappointing, being told day before they had a no shoes policy in the hotel and could leave them at the entrance or carry to room. Mirror on wall was at a child’s height not a normal person. Coffee and tea making was on very low coffee table and needed to kneel down to make it. The place to leave clothes had coffee table in front of it so would not be ideal for long stays. As for building the 700 year old had plenty of character and was well presented."

"Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation."

"The GWHH was a convenient an economical stay. The owners are working on improvements, which are needed. The rooms are basic but servicable. Convenient shuttle to and from LGW. Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to town, restaurants, grocery and train station. We daytripped to London snd Brighton, seeing many popular sights and escaping the throngs at night. Loved Lunch at ShiRaZ. Quiz night at The Tavern. "

"This is a tired property, there was a hole in the floor covered by lino. Things broken and cracked. Yes, perfect location for ammeneties etc. But in room 1, do not stay. Things are rusty, shelves missing. Bed you can feel springs. "
