"It’s a picturesque old pub with an extensive garden area and a large parking space. It’s quite classy indoors and we were impressed by both the sophisticated dinner menu and the food itself - very good.We were welcomed warmly and shown to the Cowdray Room, which opens on to the beer garden. That wasn’t a problem as the pub closes at 10, and then it was an advantage as we were able to sit outside for breakfast with the place to ourselves. The pub will cook breakfast but not until 10.30 am, so...

"Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. Interior...

"Too many rules stuck everywhere in the property. The lady that attended to us was impolite over the phone. Properrty difficult to locate. Need for signposts on the roads close to property."

"stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again."
