"we stayed twice in our 2 week trip to Japan... at the beginning and at the end. We had a room with 4 twin beds, for our family of 4 (parents and 2 grown children) There was plenty of room. separate toilet from shower room. which help with the number of adults. there was a table and seating area by the tv, and a small kitchenette area. All of the rooms are outside entrances, like a motel, no indoor corridors like a hotel has. One elevator so you might be waiting at peak times unless you want to take the stairs.
