I thought it was ok for the price. Facilities were extremely clean and other guests were respectful of others. As a woman traveling by herself, I felt safe staying there overnight. It was my first stay at a capsule hotel and I wish I would have gotten more guidance from the staff when I first checked in. Staff did not speak English (which is fine, you're in Japan after all!) but was not necessarily welcoming or friendly when I was trying to ask questions. I felt like I was bothering them, but they seemed to be happy to answer questions from locals. Maybe it was just my assumption. The hotel is located in a very industrial area and there are no restaurants around. However, a subway station is only 5 min away. Very convenient! Wouldn't necessarily stay there again but I would definitely recommend it if you're travelling on a budget.

Well worth the price paid
Fantastic hotel, perfect for solo travellers or those looking for a great deal. There were three lovely ladies I spoke with at the front desk, two were Russian, they were the ones to help check me in. They didn't speak fluent English but they made every effort and were able to explain it just fine since this was my first capsule hotel. I would take one star away for two reasons, the capsules have a fan to pull in air, which the hotel is air conditioned but once you close the bamboo screen for privacy they get a bit warm. Secondly the location is in a bit of an industrial area which was weird but it was close to Shinonome line so it was still easy to get around. The showers are excellent but could use more ventilation. They provide PJ's, slippers, toothbrush, etc. The lockers are big enough for a duffle bag and any suitcases are locked in the main lobby.

The showers could have been cleaner. The ventilation fans had a very sizeable amount of dust built up and some black spots in the harder to clean areas. The pods did not have sufficient ventilation and were a bit warm for my liking because of this. The locker system they had implemented felt very convoluted compared to other capsule hotels I've stayed at, as every other hotel aside from this one has allowed luggage to go with the guests to their respective floor. The entire system felt like luggage was an afterthought to putting people into rooms.

This was my very first day at a capsule hotel and I was very impressed by what I got for such a cheap price. The beds were comfortable, it featured all the amenities, and it was close to a train station, making it very easy to go to both Tokyo Disneyland as well as Tokyo Bay.

A Japanese style capsule that is quiet and clean. Common areas were nice and big, with kitchen amenities like microwave and sink. Laundry was very convenient. The only inconvenience was the showers being on a different floor. Otherwise a great place. I would stay again

Clean hotel; remote location; noisy mornings
The hotel was clean and comfortable, except in the mornings when some guests got up to prepare for their day. The hallway which leads to the capsules is connected to the bathroom area. There is a door to the bathroom area which, when not closed, allows sounds like the hairdriers, to transmit to the entire floor. Since the capsules are only closed by a roll-down bamboo shade, this was quite disturbing to those of us still sleeping. The hotel did provide free earplugs (toothbrushes/paste, disposable razors, slippers, pajamas, towels, too), but maybe they should make the door self-closing or add a sign to keep the door closed. The hotel is located in a corner of Tokyo (near a trash sorting facility) and requires a subway ride into the city (additional 390 Yen each way), but the neighborhood seemed safe enough. The capsules must be emptied every day for cleaning between 10AM and 4PM, but you can store your stuff in a provided locker during the day. Each capsule has a tv, fan, and safe. The staff was very friendly and they do speak English. Most of the guests appeared to be Japanese.

I'd hate to give the poor rating to the staff because it's not fair the great staff. Natalia was wonderful, accommodating, helpful and pleasant. But the main guy (tall, grey hair, grumpy) was awful. Never a helpful word. The weather the week I was there was very humid and one day I needed to take a second shower after I had used and disposed my towel (since there is no actual room you can't store or reuse your towel). I asked for a towel that morning and he refused. "One towel only!" He repeated the assertion. I walked away dumbfounded and disappointed. I left two days early on a prepaid reservation just to get away from this place. The snoring and phone talking at all hours made capsule sleeping challenging for me even with earplugs and headphones. The capsules are not sound proof. Best wishes. But please get rid of this guy (although I think he is the owner...)

Rooms were clean, with black out curtains. No noise at all, very good for sound sleep. Good clean bathrooms and sufficient in number. In a 5 min walk from station, near by convenience store. But the AC vent towards my pod was not working which was a problem in summer, but on complaining staff did not took it very seriously. But apart from that it was overall comfortable stay. Recommended for solo or budget travelers.

Great overnight stay
Very easy to check in. Everything is new and very clean with bedclothes, slippers and toiletries available. The area didn't have much around, but there is a train station right across the street.

I stayed here for 3 nights while touristing around Tokyo. The location really isn't that great if you're interested in looking around the main city and staying in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. To get into central Tokyo every day took at least 30 minutes (including walking to the metro station and actually riding the metro). However, that being said, I found it was lovely being outside of Tokyo when it was time to sleep, being in cooler conditions (the hotel is close to the ocean) and it was a lot quieter and calmer. The staff were very friendly and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The hotel definitely needs some improvements though. The 'kitchen'/ eating area is deficient. No fridge, cupboards, cutlery, plates etc or anything, which was strange, as this is my 4th hostel in Japan that I've stayed in, and every one has had amazing kitchen facilities. Just a few vending machines, a sink and places to sit. I had to walk to the Family Mart next door every morning to get yoghurt for my cereal (I had bought milk not realising there was no fridge. The staff wouldn't let me use their fridge either so I had to chuck it out after a few hours of buying it). Also, don't expect to get anything socially out of this hotel. The atmosphere is pretty isolated and solemn... just as well I was travelling with friends. Apart from the social aspect and the kitchen, everything was lovely. Clean facilities, well air-conditioned, and very calm and relaxing. I would recommend.

It was a good hotel, very comfortable. I especially liked the private showers. Just remember to pack your shower cap and a travel iron. Location is okay, about a 5-7 minute walk from the station to the hotel. And there is a Lawson near by.

A great place if you only need to stay one night. Staying more than one night gets a bit inconvenient, with your things in a locker on the ground floor and your capsule one or two floors above.

As far as capsule hotels go, this one was pretty good. Clean facilities, good WiFi, good location and cheap. But there's no sound insulation between each capsule, so if you are a light sleeper and someone is snoring, even a few rows down, this can be very problematic. However if there are other capsules available, you can ask a receptionist if you can move and they'll let you. Then if you wear earplugs, wear the headphones attached to the TV and turn on the room fan, you should be able to drown out most snoring. Aside from this, the bed is comfy, but the room can get hot, as there is only a fan an no AC. I'd recommend this place for backpackers, just be prepared if you are a light sleeper.

I wanted to experience a capsule hotel thinking that it would be an adventure and that I probably wouldn't get a good nights sleep, but this hotel was fantastic, very very clean, well organised and a lovely place to stay. I had a great nights sleep!!
