Very friendly and helpful staff who can speak English and are also very patient. The breakfast at the restaurant on 1F is also really good. Rooms are on the smaller side, but they are very clean along with the bathrooms.
The hotel also has a laundry room, though there are only 3 combo washer/dryers, so if you want to use them be prepared to wait. What's useful, however, is that the main menu screen on the TV in you room has a tab for the laundry room, which will show you which washer/dryer is in use and if it is in use, it shows you how much time is left. Note: these washer/dryer combo machines, like most in Japan, dispense their own detergent, so you don't need your own. These machines in particular also have a neat sanitizing cycle you can run to sanitize the drum before you put your clothes in it and it only takes 1-2min to complete.
The location of this hotel super-convenient. There's a large Don Quijote right next door and a 7-11 with an ATM just a bit further across the street. What's really great is that Takadanobaba Station is right across the street, which you can use to ride the JR Yamanote line, Seibu Shinjuku Line, and Tokyo Metro Tōzai Line.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.
