There is only one elevator, so not too convenient. Hotel only provide room key for adult if you reserve the room with a child, even though the child is charged for adult rate??? very inconvenient

I like the place because is clean and close to train station ...the closest one is to Ueno Okachimachi Station. The good thing about this hotel is they offer free yakult, ice cream, soft drink and free using of washing machine. The best thing is there are lots of yummy restaurant around this hotel. What I dont like about this hotel is their lift is only one......

I’m a return guest so I definitely like Dormy Inn hotels in Japan. Super comfortable and affordable for solo travelers in Tokyo. This one even more so as it is located in Ueno district close to many tourist spots, i.e. Ueno park, Senso-Ji in Asakusa and Akihibara shopping district and many others. Plus, they have sauna and public bath for guests on the top floor. Highly recommended!!!

I am a returning customer of this hotel. Since around 2017, my family and I have stayed here every time we visit Tokyo. Though room rates are a little high for this hotel these days, you cannot beat its location and convenience. I also think they have improved upon their amenities, such as the taste of the free nightly ramen is improved, or the free ice popsicles outside of the onsen add nice touches to our stay. Last but not least, their new mattresses feel very comfortable, and I had several great nights of sleep!

The public bath was great! Also had a small outdoor pool which was really lovely. The breakfast buffet was really great and staff very helpful, but the dining area was very small and crowded. Very nice selection of breakfast items and good quality. Very nice place to stay for the price and good location. It was a bit difficult to find. Directions from Ueno Station to the hotel on the website or Expedia would have been really helpful, as we had heavy luggage and were wandering around trying to find the hotel!

Located in the shopping and dining area, this hotel is one of the choices for those who want easy access to train station, varieties of dining and shopping. However, the hotel staffs are really helpful and skillful. They can communicate well in English.

While the room was small and simple, it was clean and staff were friendly. Big bath and sauna is a plus. The only down side is how cleaning staff moves their cleaning supplies through narrow hall ways and occupying the only elevator for the building. I also found their stuff spread across the hall ways disorganized.

Extremely small rooms even by Tokyo standards. Very overpriced and loud. Overrun with tourists. One elevator for the whole place. When we were there a family two doors down had a horrific domestic violence incident and it took forever for the front desk to get help.

The hotel is an easy walk from Okachimachi JR station. Friendly staff made for a quick check in. Dormy Inn are always clean and compact, this was no exception. They have everything you need. There was construction on the road that was slightly audble from our 10th floor room. But after a trip to the onsen we slept without a problem. Theres plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel. We booked another stay and they kindly held our bags until we returned later in the week!

Hotel is in good location, it’s 2 mins to ueno okachimachi station and 5 mins to ueno station. It is neat and clean. There is onsen on 12/F and drinks machines too. However, lift is always occupied. It takes about 5 mins waiting for the lift most of the time.

Convenient location and comfy stay
The location is very convenient, it's 5 minutes walk distance from the JR station. Many restaurants nearby. The hot spring is quite small but it's comfy. The breakfast is ok. I would recommend my friend to choose Dormy Inn Ueno Okachimachi.
