All I needed for a quick stay in Tokushima.

I stayed at hotel Taiyo Noen for one night, after arriving in Tokushima late at night. The staff at the hotel was really nice. Shoutout to the Nepalese gentlemen who spoke English, helped me, and made my stay even better. Breakfast was really delicious and filling. The location is also very convenient. I would stay there again.

Your typical 5/10 J biz hotel

This was the only 'reasonable' option in Tokushima during GW as everything else was either fully booked or 5 times its usual price. It's a typical J business hotel (bit quirky with the farm theme) with small rooms, no views etc. Breakfast was surprisingly ok, location not too bad and there was also free rental bikes as an added bonus. Decent option during major Japanese holidays but would obviously go elsewhere outside gw or obon.
