"The entire 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite was dated but we loved it! The rooms were clean, kitchen was clean and bathrooms were clean. There were a few random treasures left from previous people’s stays. The pool was great and a fantastic treat in the cold! The location was away from the Main Street of Helen but it was also an easy walk to get to all the activities. The drive up and down the resort was roughly 16 to 18 degree grade. Checkout was easy and there were some easy directions that needed to be followed but for the price and location, nothing but love for this place! "

"The hotel is 50 years old and it is charming in that aspect. That said, the bathrooms are tight and the rooms are pretty average size. However, they are as advertised and you shouldn’t get a room expecting a giant soak tub. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the river view balcony is very under advertised. It is a terrific place to sit with a morning coffee or watch some of the night life moving and shaking. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is all prepackaged stuff (again, as honestly advertised) but sufficient. However the quaint tables by the fireplace is also under advertised. If you want a luxury spa, this isn’t it. If you want a friendly VERY conveniently located cozy little Inn, this is a classic hidden gem. "
