I would class this hotel as ‘olde worlde’….. So anyone wanting modern it probably isn’t for you. Lots of interesting passages and stairs, and flagstone floors add to the atmosphere. I’m not saying my stay at this hotel was chaotic, but I’m fairly sure I experienced a full escape room challenge before I even got inside. On arrival, I wasn’t able to check in and was left standing outside for a solid 15 minutes, which really gave me time to reflect on my life choices—and the weather. ...
