THE SHOWER HAD VERY LOW PRESSURE. IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO WASH OUT SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER.

Find somewhere else
Room we were given was not what was pictured. Staff refused to move us to another room unless we paid full price for new room. The manager was not on site but employee was calling to see what he could do, she refused to speak to us and said that she would only refund half of what we paid. We left the hotel, did not stay. Hotels.com assisted in making a remedy for the situation with a certificate. Do not stay here, it is false advertising, the rooms are gross and smell like mold.

Relax
Water pressure in the shower not the best. Acess to the Beach outside the room was a plus. Fire pit as well. Small Casino on one side of the hotel entrance an Italian and steak house on the other.

My bf and I have stayed here before and the room was nice , perfect for a two day stay but I definitely Can’t say that this time. The room was FREEZING! The floor was concrete , we asked for a heater and said that they were all being used. It rained that day when we returned back to the room it was filled with water that leaked through. Horrible experience.

Honest review of the place.
The room itself is decorated nicely but it does have a lot of issues from rusty faucets, clogged shower head, non-working water pressure, Tv not working, Wifi unresponsive, and worst of all the electricity kept going out--constantly not just once or twice (their outlets would read 84 to 104 volts any any given time). Liz (lady in charge) is a nice person to talk to but doesn't really help with issues that came up in the room. When I told her about the bed bugs that had eaten up my fiance and cockroaches running around she didn't seem to interested to help. The electricity issues was brought up the whole time there but was just pushed off. We had food go bad first night there since the lights went out while we were away (Friends were staying at Real Del Mar so we'd go there for a clean pool and working Electricity). The bed linen and towels they provided were very dirty. Yellow spots and dead bugs on them. Cleaning ladies showed up once during the 4 days we were there. The parking situation is nice though as you get a spot for just yourself and access to the beach is pretty quick with quads or walking. In all honesty if you don't plan to sleep or shower in your room the place is great for safety and having a fire close but safely away from the beach.

I was supposed to get a room with a kitchen but didn’t get one! Room was horrible!!!! Mold and water spots all over and I had to call the front desk because the room had no running water most of the time we were there!!! Only positive thing is the location!

Very shabby small bed. Did not get queen size bed. Tiny couch very dirty. For 125.00 a night we expected better. Not so shabby on the inside. Outside is very nice by the beach.

It's not a bad place at all, just outdated and a bit bare bones for the price. The water wasn't always reliable, the fan didn't do much to keep the heat down, everything in the room was a bit beat up. Housekeeping only came by once the four days I was there so once a day I'd visit the front desk for more coffee or toilet paper ha. All that said though, the people were Incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a two minute walk to the beach. Except for one night that had a massive party, it was mostly quiet and super peaceful. Even though it was a bit older, I actually loved the character of it and how it didn't feel like a typical chain hotel. I just think it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

Great location, roaches in room
Love the location, but the motel is falling apart little by little, the hot water ran out while showering. Its somehow clean, but the bathroom smells funny. The room curtains are falling apart, paint is pealing, etc.... Run down hotel.

I liked this place! It was close to the main town but far enough for night time quiet ! The shower and plumbing worked fine! The attendant was nice and helpful The bed was a little floppy but manageable Had a fire pit in front which we used and was nice Overall we had a great weekend!!!

Horrible Experience
On the north side, adjacent to the hotel, there is a primitive water treatment facility that dumps its "treated water" into the ocean right in front of the property. Our room was on the extreme south west corner of the property facing the ocean, which at first seem safe from the dead animal stench produced from the facility. However, the neighboring private properties were discharging sewage through two drainage pipes within a few feet upwind in front of our room. That's right, we got hammered by extremely awful odors from the north, south and west sides of the room. To make matters worse, on the evening before we were scheduled to leave we ran out of hot water. I informed the clerk of the situation and was told that the propane tank that supplies the water heater had gone empty and would be unable to refill the tank until sometime after 8 AM. Because we wanted to leave by 6 AM, I offered the use of my own tank, which they agreed to connect within a few minutes. The next morning, we found the water ice cold. Yah, the gas was never connected. Does it sound we had fun in Paraiso (Paradise)?

STAY AWAY!!
The pictures on line are nothing like the actual room. There was NO floor, no tile, no carpet-just dirty concrete. The room stunk & there was no hot water. The shower was old, disgusting & was spraying water in all directions. You could barely sit on the toilet there was so little room. The "kitchenette" area had old boards that looked rotted. When I went to the hotel desk to tell them there was no hot water, I was told someone would come in 15 mins. About 45 mins later I decided I could not stomach staying here & was frantically looking on line to look for another place to stay. Their Wifi kept kicking me off line as I was trying to book another place. I gave back the key & left. Every time we drove by this area going back & forth between the dental clinic I was taking my husband to, there was a horrid smell-I have no idea what it was but it smelled like a combo of rotten eggs & something dead. Please--save your money & stay elsewhere! I have stayed in shady hotels but this is by far the worst place I've ever seen.

lost for words I don't know where to begin. The electricity was out every morning along with the hot water. light bulbs in room were out rooms were dirty needed to be updated thoroughly cleaned. If you needed to get ahold of somebody was near impossible to find an employee to speak with. expired charged me 45% more than they do at the office.

Nice quiet getaway
Check in time was 1pm. Staff was very friendly. Room#24 has view and access to beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Hot water was low. Water pressure from shower was low. If you want to get away for the weekend, it's nice for locals. Not a luxury place. But very nice. I would go back!

They have only one person working in reception for a limited time schedule. So if you need something after 6 you will have to wait until next noon. The place is not bad, but the room devices were old. The toilet was sunk for two days. The shower had no hot water the last day.

We came into the room with trash all over the floor. There was an carton of spaghetti spilled all over the fridge and floor. There was a broken glass mug sitting under the bed. The room was ABSOLUTELY freezing, and when we called for a space heater at the front desk, we never got a response. Oh I mean not call because there was no phone in the room, we had to physically walk to the front desk. It was late at night and we had traveled late so we didn't deal with this until the morning- when my boyfriend slashed his foot on the mug. When we took a shower they provided us, a couple, with ONE TOWEL. In the morning when we complained about this to the front desk they offered us a 50% discount. However the RUDE email I got this morning blamed the mess on us and refused the refund as promised. The mess, by the way, was me CLEANING up the spaghetti with towels and throwing it in the trash, which I thought was cleaning services job but I guess not. I didn't realize I would be paying to stay in someone's dirty room. NEVER STAY HERE. It's filthy and badly kept and the service is horrible.

Hidden Gem
This hotel is truly a secret treasure. Although it is a very simple accommodation, it was a perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I due to its privacy. While we were there, my boyfriend and I visited plenty of taco shops / panaderias, shopped downtown, rode horses / quads right outside our hotel on the beach and most of all enjoyed the sound of the ocean while falling asleep. If you aren't looking for anything extravagant this is the perfect place to go. It has rooms facing the beach and plenty to do within walking distance. (Papas & Beer is just a mile away from the hotel) The Italian restaurant, Betuccinis, next door also has great food which is worth a try. I would say the only downfall of our stay was that the WiFi did not work in our hotel room; luckily there was a cafe downtown with free WiFi. Overall I would say plenty of bang for your buck and easy to find.

We Just got back from here!! We recommend paying the higher priced rooms. The room was nice and comfy for two. The bed was very firm :) if you like firm beds. The view from the room was excellent and just what we were looking for. During the day you here the rumble of the quads and see the people when rented horses. The occasional firework going off is a bit starteling but it was great otherwise. Walking distance to the touristy party of Rosarito. The room also Had a nice TV with cable and a blue ray player. The one downside was there was no hot water in the shower at all. The weather was a lot chillier than we expected and it would have been nice to take a warm shower But it wasn't :( we became experts of the 30 second shower. If you expect five star service, this is not the place for you. But if you want a nice view and come expecting not to be spoiled by staff then this is the place for you.
