Hotels near Tigner-Farrer Reservoir

"It was a nice hotel, it was clean, has a modern contemporary design, I like the room layout, it smells good, hot breakfast with good coffee. It is beside a Gas station and nearby store which is nice and convenient but If there is something I would advice people is to be careful in the parking lot facing the gas station to be careful especially in the morning rush hour people driving from other nearby stores use this parking as a pass through, driving 40-50 miles/hr like a regular road I taught it was just a single driver but everyone treat it as a regular road me and my wife almost got hit by a car and you could easily forget thinking your in a parking lot we only noticed it in the peak busy hours not usually but I think this is a safety concern they should put speed bump for drivers in a hurry using it as a detour, other than that its a good hotel."

"The carpet was literally sticky it was so worn out. You had to be careful not to step on tacks. Breakfast was a joke. Get there early if you want anything to eat. Staff doesn’t care. Stay away. "

"Breakfast was jimmy dean frozen breakfast on 2 mornings, 3rd was fresh cooked. Housekeeping was awful, let us run out of toilet paper, didn’t clean and collect garbage, basically not Marriott standards."

"This place was absolutely gorgeous. All new and updated. Very quiet area. Beach front view and access.The owners were very nice as well. They offered to cook steaks for us for dinner. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!! "

"Everything was great except that you can hear the people next to you clearly - alarms, tv, talking. A complaint by several of us staying there."

"The staff was kind!! Our room was dirty upon arrival. Grime on the sinks and walls. There were even some crumbs on the floor.. I'm thinking Doritos. House keeping did well to make our bed daily and refresh towels! But overall.. the side of the building we stayed on smelled either like vinegar or boiled eggs through the entirety of our stay. Lastly, a pipe must have busted on our last night because there was a mighty squealing noise that lasted through the wee hours of the morning until our check out time. Subtle, but noticeable. "

"Check in was fast and easy. There was trash in the trash can when we walked into the room. No big deal. Other than that it was clean. Seems outdated compared to some of the other Tru motels I have stayed at. "
