"We loved everything about The Inn on Mount Desert. The staffers were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was made to order for us. We could walk to everything in town. We have already made reservations for another visit in a few months. This will be our go-to destination in Bar Harbor from now on."

Sand Beach in Acadia National Park. The water will be cold, even in August, and its usually much busier than this, but it's always beautiful! Parking is limited so I recommend taking Acadia's free Island Explorer shuttle.
