"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"The hotel is an old Georgian building and therefore reflected in the rooms and amenities. Lots of character and charm. However, this means no aircon and old fashioned door locks etc. They provide a fan but our room was still too warm. We stayed in April so the summer months could be tricky. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was well stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and lovely fluffy towels. Lots of tea and coffee. Coffee was high quality bags and not the nasty...

Whilst there we noticed that there was a swimming pool for the guests also entertainment of an evening which was good fun. Over all a good stay but a bit dated"

"This hotel is just fantastic. Plenty of parking , spacious clean room with plenty of coffee/tea milk and fluffy towels . The location is brilliant for the new forest and beaches . There is an Indian restaurant next door which is delicious. The hotel has a microwave and plates cutlery si you can heat up your own food or left overs from the curry . I have had the most relaxing weekend break at this hotel and cannot recommend this highly enough . "

"Breakfast was excellent, dinner however is a different kettle of fish. To charge £4.00 for 5 onion rings was actually a rip off. Over the two dinners we had in the hotel service was inadequate. Bringing out two dishes separately because one meal wasn’t ready. I’m expecting decent service and pulling the staff off the reception desk to run the and wait table is unprofessional and rediculous."

"Unsatisfactory. No kettle in the room—I had to ask twice. Restaurant service was slow and inattentive. The steak pie had very little gravy, and the same staff member was on her phone at the service counter, so I couldn’t request more. No offer of dessert. The bedroom door emits a mini alarm when opened, which is irritating late at night. The walls are thin, with corridor doors slamming and disrupting sleep. "Amazing place to stay. Everything was perfect. Room was beautiful and really spacious and cosy. Nicely decorated and loved the small touches. Had dinner which was really good. Possibly one of the best places we have stayed in UK. Will try and get back for a few nights again"

"Nice, older style hotel in great location near quayside. In pedestrian street so have to park elsewhere nearby and early morning noisy bin collections!! Didn't find a lift up to second floor! Really comfy beds"
