"Main positive is the location and the view - well worth paying for the lake view. Rooms are large and ok. Overall hotel a bit scruffy - paint scuffed, carpets with holes in, corridors not very clean. Restaurant very hit and miss, some dishes really good but others just ok and service is so slow that food tends to arrive cold. Breakfast is pretty ordinary for that class of hotel. Staff are also hit and miss, some very helpful, others not very interested. We had amazing weather so didn't really...

"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "
