"Got static about me canceling the 2nd due to a family emergency over 2 hours away and he wasn't happy about it even tho I bought the last minute cancellation policy for both nights, I just gave up…"

"No water pressure in sink or shower. Shower head was old. Tub was angled towards wall making it uncomfortable to stand during shower. Breakfast was low quality-eggs had no flavor. Apple juice was warm."

"Nice breakfast buffet. Room was ok, bathroom was dirty, air conditioner was horribly loud, rattled all night. However, Expedia charged me more ($123.30) than the hotel charged (112.04). Expedia would not refund the difference, saying they charged me the lowest rate for the booking, NOT TRUE! My final bill at the hotel was $112.04. Expedia refused to return the difference. I will never use their service again and tell everyone about this incident."

"Good location and enjoyed the pool. Staff was friendly even though they were extremely busy. The breakfast was well stocked. However the first floor room smelled like chemicals. There were crumbs under our pillows and the sheets smelled like someone else’s body odor. There was also a bloody Kleenex in our sheets."

"We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!"

"The Property is close to downtown and all the shops. It's located near major roads, but you don't hear the traffic. Parking spots were plenty. Breakfast was simple, but really good."

"We did not know that they didn't clean rooms if you were staying more that one night. And they didn't replace towels. Got back to motel around 9pm called for towels and was told I needed to bring the dirty towels to front desk and they would give me fesh towels. Maybe short staffed, but they should have let us know. Staff was friendly."

"We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. "Room was not clean - stains on the comforter, cigarette holes in one of the blankets, though they claimed to be a smoke free facility. Used bar of soap in the bathroom and holes all over the carpet. Night stand was sticky and visible dirty."

"Needs updating. The rooms rug was torn, couldn’t use the TV. Couldn’t even watch the morning news. The air conditioner was loud and couldn’t find a switch or way to turn on lights by the nightstand."

"Wake up to the Rock River! What a neat experience to wake up to the Rock River and eat breakfast near it as well. Our room had a patio that looked out to the river; my family loved that!"
