"Location can't be beat. Close walking distance 5-15 minutes to metro, sites, hop off and on. Even closer to restaurants and shopping. Small room but all you need. Breakfast had a decent choice, made to order and all you can eat. Only 5 or 6 rooms total. Diffenitly a mom and pop feel. Someone always around to answer questions or get you what you need. They have a restaurant on the 3rd floor. There was some late night noise from that, mostly on the stairs. Summertime might be more of an issue....

"Beautiful rooms and a great location in the heart of Athens
Altar Suites is a lovely small property in the heart of Monastiraki, ideal for travellers looking for a comfortable, well-designed room in a central location rather than a traditional full-service hotel.
Our room was beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous view, a very comfortable bed, excellent linens, and efficient air conditioning.
The location is one of its biggest advantages. You’re surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and shops,...

"We had a nice big room with a balcony and a view of the Acropolis. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and robes and slippers were appreciated. The staff at this hotel are so helpful. Special shout out to Dion for being patient on my boarding pass issue and to Pantilus for helping with tour bookings. The morning breakfast had lots of selection and the staff were also so kind and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking and exploring. Would highly recommend."

"MiraMe was a pleasant surprise. The staff were wonderful, friendly and ever so helpful. When we arrived we were concerned to see the building next door under construction/renovation but turned out not to be a problem at all. We found our room to be very quiet, peaceful and had all we needed.
Due to our plans changing we were not able to take advantage of the rooftop bar or restaurant but we did go up there to sample the anazing view of the Acropolis.
The area in general was a big surprise, only...

"So to enter the suite area, you have to go to the restaurant. I was immediately greeted, and the gentleman took my luggage upstairs for me. When I entered the room, it was like walking into a fairytale. The bed could be a little more comfortable. But other than that, everything in the room was perfect. Breakfast was good. A great stay to get some beautiful photos. The staff overall was very sweet and helpful. Especially Chris. "

"Fun property & nice staff. Room a little noisy but it's on a busy street so that's to be expected. We stayed in the Elvis room. Fun artwork in room area too. they had Jimmy Hendix, Jim Morrison etc. But for some reason also pictures of communist leader Mao (killed millions of Chinese) Che Guevara a Marxist revolutionary. Neither have anything to do with the some greatest musicians of our time. We enjoyed our time there & would definitely go back!"
