5. 85 Sky Tower

The Tuntex Sky Tower rises above the cityscape in the center of Kaohsiung at a height of over 1,200 feet (365 meters). It is among the tallest skyscrapers in Taiwan and has an intriguing shape with two twin towers connected by a third tower that extends from above the center. The shape was conceived to replicate a Chinese symbol that means “tall.”
