"Let me first say that I am not a bougie hotel guest. I need a clean place to lay my head with decent water pressure for a shower. This hotel was fairly clean and the check-in went pretty smooth (the night time crew is much more friendly and helpful). My biggest issue was the ONE luggage cart was being used, so me and my two kids had to lug everything in ourselves. Fast forward THREE days, I am in the shower and my children are in our room watching TV, our door opens (with the DND sign hung mind...

"I don’t know why I didn’t read the reviews first but this place is a dump. The first room they offered me smelled like a nursing home. I mean I didn’t even step in the room when the smell hit me. I went back downstairs and told them that offering that room to ANYONE is offensive!! They gave me a card to check 2 other rooms. "Terrible place smells bad."

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY! the homeless run in an out of the property all day and all night, rooms smell like they’ve been getting smoked in since the 1500s, trash all over the parking lot, stained amenities, overall was a HORRIBLE experience. Lucky I have friends and family who live in Houston so I didn’t NEED to stay there! Very disappointed. If I could leave negative stars I would"

"The hotel did not accommodate my handicap. There were no working elevators. They wanted my husband, grandson and I to haul our luggage up stairs to our room. They said that all ground floor room we taken except one which had no working television. The room that they offered us to check out was not cleaned to our satisfaction and also had an odor. We decline our stay and checked into another hotel."

"The front office staff is very kind, in exception of one new guy who was obviously new, but the staff is nice. The property needs an upgrade. The price is way too high to not take pride in the property and keep the furniture looking new at least by painting it. It is in a nice area with shops nearby. Keep the pool clean & update that outside furniture! I am a repeat customer & I will be back. I just hope the executives will spend the money to restore and update this place!"
