"Very shabby, but reasonably clean. Very hot in the room with just a weak fan. Only one double socket in entire room and it couldn't have been further away from the mirror if it tried, so impossible to style hair, if that's something you would need to do during your stay. Musty old food smell in corridor. Bit of a shame as in good location."

"Amount of things supplied, didn't really need half the stuff we took. Excellent flat. Well equipped. Nice set up. Bonus bottle of wine. Lovely views. Apart from stairs everything was perfect, even stairs I coped with. Can't praise it enough."

"AVOID!!! We arrived at the hotel to stay 1 night (Saturday). We had booked using Expedia (also to be avoided). Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told by the person at the reception that we had not paid enough to Expedia and that if we were to stay at the price (already paid), he would not be making money. He requested that if we paid an extra £20 in cash we could stay but this sounded very dodgy to us so we declined. He asked us to call Expedia to tell them that we had not paid enough!!!!! We...

"Vaughan and Sharon are wonderful hosts. They made us feel like valued guests in their B&B (Guesthouse). Our room was the attic twin (top small windows in the picture), so lots of steps in this historic building, with a nice hot shower and views of downtown. The location is great too, right downhill from the Dover Castle and very convenient to shopping and downtown Dover. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a nice option for a vegetarian full English including veggie sausage."
