"Property was really good, a little dated but it’s in an excellent location for the beach and local resturaunts, would recommend this hotel to others."
"Probably the quirkiest place we have stayed, which is not a negative. The area is very lush foluage-wise. It is a 20 min walk (for us) into Byron Bay where loads of places for breakfast and other meals (esp if you like Mexican!). In the lodge we had it is a narrow and tight circular staircase to bedroom so note if not good with stairs! Not great to get suitcases up so we left on couches downstairs. Sleeping very relaxing with windows open and babbling brook outside, plus wind through the...
"A good place to stay, much larger than we expected. Basic but good, the only thing that lets it down is it feels like the bathroom is from the 80s and needs replacing. "

"The Wollongbar Motel is a superb place to stay when visiting Byron Bay. It's really clean and well maintained. There's acees to thebeach from the motel grounds. It's a 3 minute walk from the centre of town. Cannot recommend it enough."
"Parking is shocking around Byron Bay, The Shire is greedy and tourists will stop coming when you have a $5 per hour parking policy - so you get a coffee for $3.50 and pay $10 parking!! Ridiculous!! So you have lost me Byron Bay. Problem is, you can’t even park in the street to check in (maybe they should have a private spot)
Parking at hotel is excellent once you have checked in, at the hotel car park
I feel sorry for any business in Byron Bay as in my opinion, the Shire will close them up with their greedy policies!! "
"The location of Julian’s apartments is truly unmatched, making it easy to stroll to both the town and the pass. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for our week long getaway, including a stove top and washing machine. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Byron and staying here again!"
