"It’s a steal location for nature lovers, tree huggers and general lovers of good service. The rooms are excellently laid out and have a super selection of drinks, hot chocolate, tea,coffees. The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. "Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again."

"The wife and I stayed here for 2 nights for a short break in the New Forest. The hotel was great, our room was light and airy. Although a little warm because of the heat wave we were able to open windows on both sides that brought in a draft in the evening which quickly cooled the room down, that and use of the excellent shower meant that we coped easily. Each room also has a small allocated outdoor space which was particularly welcome during the hot weather and we enjoyed some fish and chips on...

"We had a very small room inland snug but unfortunately in the heat the small fan given to us was inadequate to cool the room. We had dinner in the Jetty which was fabulous down by the waters edge with.a delicious prawn spaghetti and cod with crab.served by a very helpful young lady who was rushed off her feet. Very helpful staff and a lovely continental breakfast"

"Lovely Garden room. Rather bijou and a particularly small bathroom. I was concerned about noise from the restaurant but it was fine (we were on 1st floor). Luxury bedsheets and duvet and decent aircon. Staff all lovely. Breakfast was fine. I had salmon and scrambled eggs on the first morning. The salmon was pretty tasteless and the eggs were dry - very disappointing and not expected from this establishment. Next morning I had smashed avocado and poached eggs which were nicer, but not...

"The younger staff members were super polite and helpful. The room was not well cleaned in advance of arriving and was not serviced during the stay. Evening meal seemed a bit like an oven heated frozen meal rather than freshly cooked. It may not have been but it seemed that way"
