"This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"

"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was unable to access my room because the door code provided did not work. I had to contact reception and wait approximately 10 minutes on the phone before a replacement code was issued. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. "Hotel is near the Jubilee campus but not near city centre. Clean and big room and staff was helpful. We had to pay for carpark at £6 per day. There used to be free carpark before this. It would be good if hotel guests are given free carpark like before as the price of the hotel stay is not cheap."

"Lovely, quiet, hotel in a residential area very close to the River Trent. Ample free parking, although the staff will need a note of your vehicle registration. Our superior king size room was fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is an in room kettle, tea, coffee etc as well as a coffee machine with pods Although we were only there for one night there was plenty of space in the wardrobe and there were also lots of hangers - which makes a refreshing change....

"Please be aware that this hotel has been taken over by OYO. If I’d have known this prior to booking I wouldn’t have proceeded to book. I thought we were booking the Mecure but on arrival it was evident that OYO have taken over this hotel. The room was dirty and tired. Asked for a new room but they had none available. The only plus point was that the Young lad on reception was helpful and understanding and this wasn’t his fault. But for the price we paid for the room it was unacceptable."

"The room was dirty including the ‘clean’ bedding which was hairy. The bed was built by Ikea flat pack and someone’s hopes and dreams which did not come true - it creaked with every move! The room was spacious but what’s the point! It was hot with limited windows to open because of H&S but I had to prop one open with a spoon as the restrictor was broken. Only one set of towels despite the booking being for 2 people. The location is heart of city centre which was perfect except for noise until 3am...

"We stayed here for 2 nights. I itially we booked for 2 but liked it so stayed another nightbin a diiferent Apartment. The property is literally a stones throw from notts forest football ground and trent bridge cricket ground. Apartment 2 on the ground floor is fabulous with its own kitchenette and spacious lounge. Apartment 14 is on the top floor up a fairly narrow staircase which can take a bit of effort if you have breathing difficulties , dodgy knees or cannot lift for any length of time. But...
