As long as you understand that Bruar intends to sell you high quality goods at sky-high prices, to break the monotony of your journey up or down the A9, it's fine: try the Sale Shop, slightly outside the main shopping area but currently with 50% off most items. We enjoyed lunch, and then tea/shortbread later on, and came away with the best smoked salmon, and cherry cake, to bring home as a memento.
