"So let’s start off with the fact that we were displaced due to the Garden Grove Chemical spill. We thought that this would be temporary and chose to go on a mini vacay to Belmont shores. Although the photos on Expedia was slightly deceiving, we had a pleasant stay. My husband loved the place, I was thinking we should have splurged and gotten a King size room instead of the Queen, but this place was expensive and not knowing exactly how long we would be displaced, I did t want to “splurge” too...

"The hotel was beautiful, extremely clean and the continental breakfast was great. The staff were nice . Our only complaint was on our floor there were kids running up and down the halls constantly knocking on our room door and then running away. Then we kept getting prank calls to our room. We finally kept the phone off the hook so we could rest and sleep. We complained to the front desk, but it kept happening ."

"The hotel is very nice, the surrounding is fine with restaurants which is very convenient. The only inconvenience was my windows view is blocked by a big wall outside. I though it was because the price. Overall fine right next to elevators."

"The person working the front desk was AMAZING!! Only a 5 min walk to the beach and lots of restaurants around. The room was very clean. The only negitive we found was the snack machine was basically empty and there is no stores right next to it"

"I stay here frequently. Its in my home town. Its not fancy and its been here for decades but the staff is super nice, the prices are decent. Very Walkable to the beach and restaurants. I will continue staying here whenever Im visiting. "

"The exterior of the property was unkept. We had our dogs with us and immediately clean up after them, we were constantly having to look out for other dog’s waste that had been left around the property. The hot tub looks like it had been forgotten about and in a small corner. There were signs for a vending machine but couldn’t find one and the on property ‘market’ was very small and extremely limited in selection. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The sheets and towels felt very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen staff for the breakfast bar were very friendly, efficient and serviceable. The carpet in the room could use a steam clean. All the necessary components for a good night’s rest were taken care of😊"
