"My room was very small, BUT it was all I needed. Traveling solo this time, out of the room most of the day, no need for extra amenities. Paid less than $100 per day, in San Diego, near all the major sites, excellent deal. Room was clean, staff was most helpful and polite. Very minor complaints ... room could've used a microwave oven, and the bathroom sink was very small (easy to splash water all over, and bump your head on the wall if you're just washing your face). "The rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and eager to respond when I had a question. They have a 24/7 chat as well, which is very nice. They gave suggestions of what to do in the city and even some local favorites. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter. Balboa Park, Old Town, Coronado Island, are all within 10 minutes drive!"

"It’s walking distance of Hillcrest neighborhood which is nice. The only thing is the gate for parking is small, sometimes guest park there and block the gate. We had to wait or move multiple times just to get in."

"The room smelled like food when we got in. Almost like someone microwaved something gross and it didn’t air out. It didn’t seem that clean in the room either. We also got hassled to go to a time share presentation. I would not stay here again."

"As soon my partner and I arrived we were greeted by the owners. Very polite. We were early for our room, so the owner offered to put our luggage’s in a room while our room was cleaning. The owner give us great places to go visit. When we got to our room, there was a card, when I open it, it said “happy birthday”. "Good stay with comfortable bed. Room was slight wear and tear. Ceiling had a stain that could have been cleaned up. Hotel right by freeway so you can hear the cars driving by in room."
