"Amazing place to stay if you plan to do a Safari in Wilpattu. The tent is very beautiful, the staff is super atentious and you can feel very close to nature. Calm and relaxing stay! I totally recomend it!"

"So it turns out this property (Mahoora Tented Safari Camp) is exactly the same as the similarly named 'Big Game Camp'. Don't be fooled by the location on hotels.com map - they are one in the same place. But one costs 9x more than the other one. Yes. 9 times more. "This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "
