"Gros potentiel, mais ils ne semblaient pas prêt pour le début de saison. La piscine n'était pas encore ouverte par exemple, mais on ne nous l'avait pas indiqué lors de la réservation. Des matériaux étaient visible un peu partout sur le domaine, les chiens aux pattes boueuses marchaient partout sur notre terrasse et sur nos chaises extérieures, etc. Toutefois, nous avons eu une belle expérience et le personnel a été plus que gentil en tout temps. "The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"This is a great place to stay with excellent service provided by the staff. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was consistently well-stocked, and the staff were accommodating to our needs. We dined at the hotel restaurant a few times; however, the dinner offerings were somewhat disappointing compared to the other amenities. Offering a wider variety of dinner options, particularly vegetarian choices, would improve the overall experience."

"Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per una notte. La camera era molto pulita e spaziosa, a disposizione in camera un frigo con l'acqua, macchinetta del caffè con cialde e zucchero, set di posate, piatti e tazze. Ottimo, anche il ristorante, con piatti tipici fatti alla griglia o pizza. Ottima scelta per chi viaggia in moto come noi perché si ha la possibilità di parcheggiare la propria moto davanti alla camera. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. "Great property in a perfect location. The staff was super welcoming and friendly, with Martina, Andrea, and Daniel standing out for their outstanding service and making our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was excellently maintained, and the overall experience was very good. A few minor improvements could be made, such as offering more breakfast variety after a few days it was the same every day, improving the in-room Wi-Fi, and revisiting the towel and beach chair system. Overall, these were small issues, and the hotel is definitely worth staying at. Highly recommended"

"This hotel was truly spectacular. What struck me most was how well the design showcases Matera's distinctive architecture without sacrificing comfort or luxury. The rooms are genuinely comfortable and beautiful inside — modern, while still respecting the character of the city's stonework, and never losing that cozy feel. Our room in particular opened directly onto the street, almost like a little house of its own. It was one of our favorite stays ever. There's one important thing to flag. The hotel's listing advertises free on-site parking, which was actually one of the reasons we chose it. A few days before arrival, we got an email letting us know that the hotel is in a restricted vehicle access zone, and that parking is actually a 10 minute walk away. When I wrote back pointing out that this wasn't what was advertised, I was just told that the hotel is in a restricted zone as mosts hotels in Matera, which I of course completly understand, but doesn't change the fact that the listing isn't accurate. So: factor this into your budget — the shuttle to the parking lot costs €15 per trip. And if you're thinking of just walking instead, it's just 10 minutes but it's uphill with a lot of steps, so it's very hard with luggage — fine if you only have a backpack or hand luggage. None of this would stop me from booking again or recommending it — the hotel itself is excellent and one of my favorite stays of the trip. Just go in with the right expectations about parking."

"Great property in a super easy, convenient location! Walk right out the door into the square filled with cafes & shops! We paid to park in the private garage & Vito took us everyday to retrieve it & back it out of the right space. He was amazing. A good continental breakfast…but if you get there late they don’t seem to replenish once items are gone, so get there earlier than later. Front desk staff were very nice & spoke good English which was helpful of course."
