"Wir waren letzte Woche zum 30. Geburtstag meines Mannes in diesem Hotel und sind immer noch begeistert. Schon ab der ersten Minute haben wir uns unglaublich willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Personal war aufmerksam, herzlich und hat wirklich bei allem mitgedacht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das fantastische Essen – qualitativ und geschmacklich einfach überragend. "Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money...

"We stayed at the hotel in connection with the MilanoCortina 2026 Olympic Games. We have only positive feedback to give: excellent cleanliness, a very good breakfast, and a central location close to both the center of Chiusa and the train station. Marlis (the hotel owner) was incredibly kind and helpful. On a scale from 1 to 10, we would give a strong 10."

"This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we came back because the staff is excellent! So friendly and helpful. The downside is the rooms could use some updating and it is very loud. Because it was warm, we needed to open the windows and the noise from town kept us up at night. The spa area is very nice. If we were to come to Ortisea again we would look for something off the Main Street."
