"Our room had a lake view which was stunning. Room was comfortable even if a little dated. Unfortunately you can't regulate the heating and it was unbearable the first night, added to the heat was the noise of traffic outside, we were told we could turn it off completely, but there was no handle to do so, when the maintenance person arrived he was surprised to see there wasn't a handle nor on the bathroom heater either, but that one was turnedd off. He had to come twice, didn't have a replacement...

"Very shabby place. It was in poor condition and not maintained. The elevator was ancient. It had a hot tub and pool but they were old, dingy, and didn’t open until 5pm. The breakfast was ok. "Great location! You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and tour groups will pick you up from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful! "Overall we had a good stay. The room was comfortable, the shower was hot with good water pressure and breakfast included was a big plus. Unfortunately our stay soured at the end as after check out we were accused of stealing a towel and charged for it. We did not steal said towel and likely never had it to begin with. "The location is great (right in town) but it also means that it’s quite nosy. Rooms don’t have air cond or fan so we slept with the window open and could hear quite a lot of noise from the street, with earplug it should be fine though. Staff was nice and buffet breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Our bathroom had a strong smell of sewage (we told reception about it.) "
