"Very happy with our stay but the noise from other guests at the hotel shouting outside the lobby doors that went on until 3am kept us awake so that by morning we were exhausted from lack of sleep. Surely something can be done to stop this. It spoilt our stay."

"Absolutely spectacular period hotel and suite! Ocean and garden views. Amazing spa bathroom, mini kitchen (and pod coffee maker)! Beautiful salon lounge. Lovely staff. "A great location for walking into the centre of Canterbury. Hotel rooms are a basic and perhaps dated, but the new bar area is very nice. Restaurant closed for refurb so can’t comment on that, but with so many good non chain restaurants just 10 minute walk away it’s not an issue at all. Staff friendly and room quiet too."

"When I stayed here before it was excellent, this time it was good, the check in was as smooth and there appeared to be computer problems as they couldn't find my booking immediately. On check in they took the full amount from my card and also a further £60 , when i questioned why, I was told it was a deposit? Overnight parking is £12.50 which I thought was a bit expensive, especially when a guest .The facilities were decent with a bar and a limited food option menu. Breakfast was excellent...

"Nice enough property that was easily walkable to town. The room was cleand and comfortable. Staff were nice. WiFi was fine. No smart TV so no netflix or casting. Breakfast was fine. We had dinner at the resturant the first night - upon reflection, we felt it would have been better to have had dinner elsewhere because no IPA on tap and just plain pub food that wasn't the greatest. It was a good hotel for two nights."
