"War ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer geräumig, ein nettes Zimmer typisch für eine Pension, deutlich mehr Charme als ein Hotelzimmer. Nicht ganz so toll der Teppich in Bad /WC, dafür aber der Besitzer super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist auch interessant, einige Museen und schöne Gegend, wenn man nur richtigen Jahreszeit dort ist und Zeit hat."

"We stayed at the water Rat for a family wedding, we had a wonderful 2 nights stay, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the room was excellent and had a gorgeous meal on our first nights stay, would definitely have a return visit if we were in that area."

"Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Good clean Rooney,excellent breakfast and friendly owner. Probably best to avoid if you have low suspension on your car as I do though. Entrance gained by a long pot holed farm track which I "bottomed" a couple of times. Difficult to find as there is onlya small entrance sign which is only visible if you approach from one direction."
