"Nice property, rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but fairly standard size for this kind of place. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and parking was very easy. Only thing to be aware of is the shared bathrooms get very cold at night since they leave the windows open so be prepared if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night."

"The laundry service was good, very clean and efficient washing machines and driers. The bed mattress, in our room was very uncomfortable, a suggestion would be to consider replacing it. The end unit was under an external stairwell leading to units above, when the stairs were in use it was noisey. Lovely motel overall. Suggestion; Book for units upstairs and/ or not end units on lower floor."

"We did make a mistake booking as I didn’t realize this was like a camp ground. That being said the bathrooms were not very clean and were frigid cool. I never did try to take a shower there. Cobwebs everywhere and the laundry area at least half of the machines were broken. I found the sponges and towels to use in kitchen area to be dirty and worn out. Not sure if staff makes sure dishes are clean from last guest as I found a nasty dirty dish in our cupboard. Bed was ok and cabin did get warm and...

"Don’t be put off by the backpacker property, the Lakeview rooms are terrific, very big with a great view and come with a mini fridge and kettle. The amenities are limited, just hand and body wash, and towels are limited, and no servicing, but for the price, the location is excellent, and the Lakeview rooms are totally separate from the backpacker dorms. "

"The staff were great, without them I wouldn’t bother to review. It all looks very very dated…like nothing has been upgraded for about 25 years. Our room had a small double bed and a single so we slept in separate beds…the mattresses were comfy but the single bed was pushed up against the wall and the pillows were terrible, really cheap, flat and thin. Old towels a bit threadbare. There was a cold night so we put the heating on, next morning there were pools of water from condensation dripping...

"Clean room, easy walking to town centre"

"The place was not very clean. There was a stain on the double bedsheet. The kitchen utensils, pots, plates, bowls, cups and glasses were not properly cleaned. The laundry room was quite dirty. The living room sofa looked worn off. The nicest place of this motel room was the bathroom. The motel office was closed most of the time and hence, we were not able to let them know our concerns. "
