"The Grand Hotel is lovely and the staff are just awesome! The hotel itself could do with some upgrades as it’s certainly showing its age. The tiles on the bathroom floor in the room in which I stayed were starting to pop up and could become a tripping hazard. Lack of a restaurant was a pain too but a short walk up the street was Freska with a great breakfast selection. "

"The staff were amazing. My partner has a allergy to scents and our room was heavily perfumed. We were able to view another room which was much better and we changed rooms and enjoyed our two nights. We really appreciated the staffs care and kindness with this issue. The breakfasts were amazing. Lots of choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Had a fabulous stay at Upper Rideau Bed and Breakfast! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They served us a delicious breakfast (the cheesy scramble was delish) and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended! "

"We loved everything about our stay. Lots of attention to little details in restoring this comfortable, historical farmhouse into a great getaway retreat. Facilities for campers, glampers and 3 comfortable, cozy upstairs bedrooms. A great eclectic library (everything from Keith Richards to the original Winnie the Pooh collection!) And ...the "Dutch Baby" breakfast was a real highlight! Thanks!"
