"Very nice hotel and good value for money. No air conditioning. Rooms a nice size. Lift was out of order when we were there. Staff were friendly. Hotel had it's own nice pub with burgers and pies and other stuff. Good location for the station and town centre"

"Wonderful clean with fabulous breakfast"

"I booked a small room for one night. I arrived half an hour early but wasn’t able to check in until the check in time of 2pm. Not sure if that’s because my room wasn’t ready or whether it’s strictly 2pm. Room 2 was clean and had everything I needed although I could hear the kitchen fans quite loudly until they went off around 10.30pm. It’s quite a labyrinth to get to rooms. Some clear signage pointing you in the right direction. There is some when you get near the rooms, but maybe some before then would be helpful. Onsite parking at £10 for 24 hours was good"

"Fabulous place to stay with very friendly and attentive staff. Great food, beautiful location and it was a very relaxing way to spend my birthday! The hotel treated me well and housekeeping put balloons and a card with fudge in our room, and I even got a lunchtime mini dessert platter. Nice touch! Loads of parking, great shower and if you love walking it’s in an ideal location. I can’t recommend this place enough! "
