"We had a pleasant stay at Hostal El Levante in Tarifa. The property was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely setting. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Despite the name “Hostal,” this felt more like a small hotel. The property consists of individual tiny-home-style accommodations with a bed and kitchen area, which made the stay feel private and cozy. Car parking available in the property. The property is located close to the highway, making it convenient if you’re traveling by car. There is also a restaurant on-site, which was convenient.The old town of Tarifa and Tumbao Kite Beach were only a few minutes away by car, making this a good base if you want to explore Tarifa or enjoy the beaches and kite-surfing scene."

"Stay for the beach and access to Tarifa. Beach is amazing. Mostly Spanish people, mostly topless, quite windy. Great location to get the ferry for a day trip to Tangier. Hotel was basic but not too expensive and there is free parking."

Breakfast is a stunning display of food & the staff is very nice. The rooftop pool has uninterrupted port views as well as views of Africa and the hotel is a quick walk to where the Med Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet and it’s a special place "

"A simple but good hotel in an ideal location right next to the Old Town and a short walk from the Port. We had a perfectly good room with a lovely bathroom and good shower. The TV didn't work but that didn't matter as we weren't there to watch TV. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the onsite cafe offered really good breakfast options at decent prices. A great hotel if visiting Tarifa - would definitely return."

"Very nice place to stay in Tarifa. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and clean. Only complaint was the amount of noise from the street below as the windows had to be kept open to keep the room cool. Would book again if I was back in Tarifa"

My husband was especially pleased that he was able to sit out on the veranda at a comfy table to.smoke a cigar in the evening! I highly recommend this hotel! 👍👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
