Terrific Tarifa

Beautiful clean room in a perfect setting. Surrounded by restaurants and bars and just a few minutes from the port and beach. My only slight complaint was no mirror on the wall in the bedroom and the light not good in the bathroom for putting on make up etc.

Poor Communication and never saw the owners!

Good quality guest house, with good facilities, clean and very comfortable. It's also very central and good for an early morning start to the port. Good value for money too. BUT: Two problems. The first is that at most accommodation, check-in will open at 3pm but at Benali it closes as 3pm. Having travelled from the UK, arrival before 3pm was not going to be possible. But therefore the second problem. As required by the small print, I had contacted the hotel to inform them we'd be arriving late. No reply. Just a few days before travel, I got an email saying that there's a problem with the payment and asking me to provide details. Nonsense and no chance: I hadn't given card details as we'd opted to 'pay at hotel' and am never going to email them to someone. I replied to that effect. The day before we travel I get a note saying that the room is confirmed after all. I replied, giving 8pm as ETA. But when we got there, no-one in sight. In fact, we never ever saw anyone at this hotel. A kind passer by phoned the hotel: apparently they had emailed me a code for the door and our key was in the room!! The email was sent the previous evening and we were already on the road, without access to email. We ended up leaving 80 Euros in the bedside cabinet as payment and then a bizarre message back saying they had refunded my credit card!! I've never known a hotel with such poor communication. Don't offer 'pay at hotel' if you are not going to be there.

What a delightful find in the Old Town, it's an easy walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend One small issue it would be best if hotel could send check in details ( door code)to my email as I missed the text maybe it's because I have loaded a travel sim in my phone and didn't get it. Anyway only a small problem as the bar owner next door rang the manager for me.

とても便利な場所です。

バスターミナルから歩いて15分くらいの場所にあります。最初は捜すのに困りましたが、慣れたら大丈夫です。前もってメールでホテルの入口の暗証番号と部屋番号を教えてくれるのでチックインはとてもスムーズです。部屋の鍵はドアノブの部屋側に挿し込んであります。タオル類も綺麗ですし、コーヒーマシンもあり、久しぶりにドリップコーヒーが飲めました。水やウェルカムチョコレートもありました。レストラン街なので食べ物には困りません。12時近くまで客がいますが、窓が三重になっているので、うるさく感じません。この街は魚介類がとても美味しいです。

Im Benali Guesthouse habe ich meistens gut geschlafen. Die Kaffeemaschine mit Pads wurden immer aufgefüllt. Der kleine Kühlschrank und die Klimanlage haben zum Wohlbefinden beigetragen. Die zwei Pralinen wurden bei Bedarf täglich erneuert. Die Inhaberin Monica sprach auch Englisch und mit Aiana habe ich mich mit etwas Spanisch auch gut verständigt. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

**Bewertung für Benali Guesthouse** Das Benali Guesthouse liegt direkt im belebten Zentrum, mit dem besten Thunfischrestaurant der Stadt vor der Haustür. Trotz der zentralen Lage und einem Zimmer zur Plaza-Seite war es super ruhig. Alle Restaurants und Bars sind ebenfalls in Laufnähe. Ein perfekter Ort für einen entspannten und dennoch lebhaften Aufenthalt!

Desastre de sitio

Hace aprox. un año estuvimos y la atencion fue bastante regular y la habitación dejaba mucho que desear comparado con las fotos. Ahora este fin de semana reservamos de nuevo ya que no habia mas alterativas, y nuestra sorpresa fue mayuscula cuando descubrimos que por un error en la tarjeta nos habian cancelado. Ya habimos llegado a Tarifa en coche y nos dejan tirados por un error, y no quisieron llamarnos "porque Expedia nos cobra un monton".
