The hotel was very nice. They let us check in early we had taken a red eye in the night before. Plenty of great restaurants close by and a star bucks right next to the hotel. The valet guys were great also.

Stayed here for the Madonna concert. I was able to walk everywhere right from the hotel. Very convenient. Very nice and clean hotel right on the water.

Valet was simple and quick. Check in was also simple and quick.
My wife and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and expected a little bit more for what we had to pay. Carpet in hallway and rooms was dingy, bathtub did not drain. No food available in the late evening. Ridiculously cold in the breakfast area. There’s more but I’ll stop there.

Location is everything. This hotel is in a perfect area for walking. A beautiful river walk, lots of nearby restaurants, and only a 25 minute walk to the cruise terminal. The building itself is a bit tired and old, but the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would go back to this hotel.

Westin cancelled my booking without notification, asking me to stay at another neighboring run down hotel. Apparently they overbooked and since I had booked only one night, my reservation was cancelled. Extremely unprofessional

Needs some repairs
The bathroom countertop was cracked and looked like it was going to fall off the wall. Also the door lock kept getting stuck in the locked position so when I left the room, I’d have to reach in and jiggle the handle to get the deadbolt to go back in so I could close the door.

The decor was elegant. The view from my room was of the harbor and the Tampa skyline and it was beautiful. I pulled my chair to the window just to sit and look out. I felt very safe because the elevator would not move without a room key. The food was good and the employees served with a smile. I was at a convention so the hotel was walking distance. I would definitely choose this Westin again.
